Community outreach
Within our Zoe Center Community Outreach Ministry, so far we have 5 ways in which we interact with the community of Whittier.
Monthly Food Giveaway
On the first Saturday of each month at 10:00 AM, the community is invited to come and pick up a bag of food. Our team members are there to greet and welcome the community and share the love of God. Prayer is also available for anyone who is in need. If you would like to volunteer, please meet us at the Zoe Center South Worship Center by 9am.
On a monthly basis we usually feed between 80-100 families and offer prayer to well over 60 individuals!
Annual Turkey Giveaway
On the third Saturday of each November, along with a few of our sponsors, we have our annual turkey giveaway where we feed over 300 families annually! That number continues to grow each year.
Monthly Clothing Giveaway
On the first Saturday of each month at 10:00 AM, the community is invited to come and pick up clothing. Our clothing giveaway is located just up the street from the church at Adventure Park, 10130 Gunn Ave., Whittier, CA 90605. Team members are there to greet and welcome the community and share the love of God. Prayer is also available for anyone who is in need. If you would like to volunteer for clothing, please meet us at the Zoe Center South Worship Center by 9am.
On a monthly basis we usually clothe between 20-30 families and offer prayer to well over 50 individuals!

McKibben School Outreach
Zoe Center has partnered with the Howard J. McKibben Elementary School, located next door to donate school supplies. Each year for Christmas, the outreach chooses several families in need for a toy giveaway. Not only are the kids blessed, but the parents are as well.
Foley House Women’s Outreach
Our outreach team members have weekly bible study’s for women at the Foley House. The Foley House is a substance abuse treatment center for women, and women with children. Zoe Center also create and give care packages for Christmas.
Senior Love Outreach for the Elderly Residing in Assisted Living Facilities
Our senior love outreach provides services for our elderly community members by visiting them at the La Posada assisted living facility in Whittier. Outreach team members give company to some other the elderly by ministering to them, offer beautician services and some entertainment for them to enjoy.
